Brittany Schoellkopf, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping children and adults build confidence through meaningful communication. She believes every individual deserves therapy that is personalized, evidence-based, and tailored to their unique strengths, goals, and everyday life.
Originally from the Pacific Palisades, California, Brittany earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College in Boston before completing her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at California State University, Northridge.
During her undergraduate studies, Brittany contributed to autism spectrum disorder research through two research laboratories. She later spent two years as an educator at Cassidy Preschool in Santa Monica, where she discovered her passion for working with young children and supporting families during the early years of development. That experience inspired her to pursue a career in speech-language pathology.
Throughout her career, Brittany has provided services in private practice, schools, telehealth, clinics, home health, and memory care settings. She specializes in pediatric speech and language disorders, early intervention, pediatric feeding therapy, voice disorders, orofacial myofunctional therapy, and neurogenic communication disorders. Her clinical interests include expressive and receptive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, Gestalt Language Processing/Natural Language Acquisition (NLA), autism spectrum disorder, Parkinson’s disease, dysarthria, gender-affirming voice therapy, and cognitive-communication disorders.
Brittany is a certified Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) Clinician, a trained orofacial myofunctional therapist, and a SPEAK OUT!® Provider through the Parkinson Voice Project. She believes the best outcomes happen when therapy is collaborative, functional, and individualized, working closely with families, caregivers, physicians, teachers, and other members of each client’s care team so that communication skills carry over beyond the therapy room.
When creating her practice, Brittany wanted it to reflect not only her approach to therapy but also something deeply personal. She chose her logo in honor of her father, whose favorite flower was the iris. It serves as a meaningful tribute to his memory and the love, strength, and resilience he instilled in her. Every time she sees the iris, she is reminded of the compassion, perseverance, and hope that continue to guide both her life and her work. She hopes those same values are reflected in the care she provides to every client and family she has the privilege of serving.
Outside of the clinic, Brittany enjoys reading, hiking, practicing yoga, traveling, and spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her rescue cat, Kiwi.
